Found it underwhelming and mostly forgettable but #143 was a great gem. Wish this was the only story and if the Knuckles series was still going on by the time this was published, the story is worthy to be #3X SSS #11 putting spotlights on the female characters of the book.

Sonic Adventure (not GREAT by any means but still enjoyable.) Here’s some of the stories I liked post Knux series: Sure, some of Ken’s work in the post #80s weren’t the best but I still found him as a decent writer. Ken’s last written story was #159 and his last published story where he was an inker was in #169. A shocker came that Karl Bollers left or got relieved of his writing duties (with his last story being #154.) Ken Penders then took over as the main writer around #146…with him announcing his departure not too long after Karl’s. Dawn Best & Art Mahwinney (spl?) also left the book. In 2005/06, Jon Gray (aka Dubs, WB) quit the comics before returning a few years later. Rouge making out with a man twice her age, continuity going down the drain, and more.
